The Nautilus PTSA is a non-profit organization committed to supporting the students, teachers, and parents of Nautilus K-8.
Fundraising
Fundraising is an essential need of any successful PTSA. Nautilus PTSA maintains a healthy amount of programs and events each year that need funding in order to function. Instead of multiple small fundraisers, the Nautilus PTSA has two main fundraising events each year. An AUCTION and a WALK-A-THON.
Volunteers
Volunteers are the soul of a strong PTSA. Whether it is 10 minutes here or an hour there, Please Volunteer! It is not required, but in order to have so many great programs that enrich our children's learning environment, we rely heavily on volunteers to keep us and our programs up and running.
Membership
Nautilus PTSA has earned a Bronze Membership award for 2014-15! Thank you for your support! Members are the heart of a strong PTSA. Becoming a member does NOT mean you are required to DO anything. Being a member of the PTSA simply means that you support the school, students and/or parents. Anyone can join (parents, teachers, students AND ALSO grandparents, aunts, uncles, community members, etc)! Super Supporter membership money goes toward the support of our many events, programs, and special enrichment opportunities. Each year this money's use is put to a vote at a general-membership meeting. Some examples of past uses of said money are: Performances for the entire student body, Play Day, Carnival, Science Enrichment, Read and Lead, Art on a Cart, Field Trip Support and more. The possibilities are endless!
